I have discovered how you can now use your freedom client software to browse free with MTN,
after MTN blocked your freedom UDP connection mode i was able to discover another way you can still browse free with MTN on your freedom client sotfware.
You can use your phone as a modem but it is strongly recommended you use HSDPA (3.5g) usb data modem for faster transmission, the HSDPA(3.5g) transmits in megabytes while phones can only transmit in kilobytes, so you see it is good you use HSDPA instead of phone.
Now let me start showing you how you can surf the net free of charge with MTN,
Important Notice! This information might be out dated but relax we have the latest configuration which will only be sent to a paid member.
1. for phone users install and run your pc suite on your pc or laptop after that connect your phone to your pc or laptop ( a msg will popup after a successful connection).
for HSDPA users just plug the modem, install and run the program then connect it to internet, if you are using MTN f@stlink it is automatically configured but if you are using other HSDPA modem you will need to configure it yourself, to configure it goto settings and put this parameters, IP: automatic, APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net, usernme and password: web then save and connect it to the internet.
2. Download and Install your freedom software after that lauch the software, a welcome msg window will popup just ignor it and continue with the second window, goto configure under SERVER CONNECTION TAG put this under the YF server: 76.73.125.131 , connection mode:https then change 443 to 53 then tick the following boxes {3(reconnect after server shutdown) 5(Socks4/5 DNS lookups on server) 6(Enable Encryption) 7(Enable re-keying)} then click on the ACCOUNT INFORMATION TAG and put the username and password which u used while opening account with your freedom, then SAVE AND EXIT.
Then click on Port Tag and tick the following boxes (Socks 4/5 port) (Web proxy port) (Open VPN port) then click on Applications Tag and tick all clickable applications and click ok.
after that click on the Status tag and Connect your freedom to start browsing! Happy Surfing!
